The Behne Inc. story begins in 1970, when founder Nathan Behne went into business with one truck, working to haul grain throughout the Midwest. Now we’ve grown to become a leader in Minnesota trucking and freight brokerage, with a fully assembled fleet of top-of-the-line T-800 Kenworth Conventionals that are ready to haul steel, machinery, plastic pipe, lumber and agricultural and industrial equipment.
In the beginning, our reach only extended from the Dakotas to Minnesota, but 45 years later we haul freight to and from all 48 continental United States. With our fleet, we can deliver your freight – whether full-load or LTL – anywhere it needs to go. Nathan’s son, Rick, purchased the business in 2015, and continues to run our trucking and freight broker company just like his father did.
At Behne, we believe that each of the individuals in the company – from dispatchers to drivers to accountants – are important, and each employee is a vital part of our team.
